Overview

The Layout page in reports enables users to tailor the structure and content of their reports. By selecting and adding various sections, users can craft reports that effectively communicate insights while being visually engaging.

Components of the Layout Page

Report Name

  • Define Report Name: At the top of the Layout page, enter a descriptive name for your report. This name helps in identifying the report's focus and content.

Click to Add a Section

To customize your report, you will need to click on the section labeled “Click to add a section.” This action opens a modal where you can select which sections to include in your report. The available options are:

  • Short Overview: Clicking this option will add a Short Overview section directly to your report.

  • Statistics: Selecting this option will open another modal where you can:

    • Choose Graph Type: Select from various types of graphs to visualize your statistics, including:
      • Number
      • Doughnut Chart
      • Line Chart
      • Bar Chart
      • Column Chart
      • List
    • Provide Graph Name: (Optional) Enter a name for the graph to make it easily identifiable.
    • Select Statistics: Choose the specific statistics you want to visualize.
    • After making your selections, click Save to add the Statistics section to your report.
    • Multiple Additions: You can add multiple Statistics sections to your report, allowing for diverse visualizations of different data points.
  • Analysis: Clicking this option will open a modal where you can:

    • Provide Analysis Title: Enter a title for the analysis section.
    • Select Filters: Optionally choose filters for more precise analysis.
    • Specify Prompt: Enter any prompt that guides the analysis you wish to conduct.
    • After completing these fields, click Save to add the Analysis section to your report.
    • Multiple Additions: You can also add multiple Analysis sections to provide comprehensive insights on various aspects of the data.
  • Messages: Clicking this option allows you to include a filtered list of question and answer conversations in your report. You can apply filters to narrow down the specific type of messages you want to display. The available filters are organised into the following categories:

    • Feedback:

      • Without feedback
      • Message feedback - Thumbs up
      • Message feedback - Thumbs down
      • Contacted with support
    • Resolution:

      • Resolution - Positive
      • Resolution - Negative
    • Situation Messages:

      • Situation message - Speak to an Agent
      • Situation message - Unable to answer
    • Categories:

      • Without a category
    • Flags:

      • Without flags
      • Check later

    Select the filters that match the type of messages you want to include and click Save to add the Messages section to your report. You can add multiple Messages sections with different filters to compare different types of conversations side by side.

  • Separator: Selecting this option will add a visual divider to your report, helping to separate different sections for better clarity.

Edit or Delete a Section

  • To edit or delete a section, click on the three dots (⋮) located on that section. This will present options for you to either edit the section’s content or delete it entirely from your report.
